Auditions
Singers should have choral singing experience, sight-reading skills, a blending voice, the ability to learn their voice parts on their own, and to have their notes learned before the first rehearsal. You can find out more about how Amuse works by reading the Expectations of Singers.

Singers are also asked to volunteer for various tasks that go into making each concert a success. Singing in a small ensemble is a great challenge and it has lots of rewards for those willing to put in the effort.

Auditions are held throughout the year as needed.
Auditions will include sight-reading, repeating a series of pitches, reading a series of rhythmic exercises and vocalizing. You do not need to be a soloist to sing in this ensemble and you do not need to prepare a solo for the audition.

If you are interested in auditioning, please review the materials on this website to better understand what we are looking for in singers who successfully audition for the ensemble, especially the Reheasal Schedule and the Expectations of Singers.

For additional information on the group or to schedule an audition, please email Lee Ryder at leeryder2@earthlink.net. Once an audition has been scheduled, please download the audition forms, fill them in and bring with you to the audition.
